Program Overview

Franklin Montessori Schools offer a yearlong Montessori Program with both full and part-time options for children ages three months through nine years.

Ages 3 through 24 months

Offered as a year-round, full-time program only

3:1 child to teacher ratio

Blend of Montessori and RIE teaching methods

Toddler Program

Ages 24 - 36 months

Half-day and partial week options available

6:1 child to teacher ratio

Focus on practical life, self-care, and grace & courtesy

Toileting independence not required

Primary Program

Ages 3 - 6 years
Child must be toileting independently to be in a Primary class
Half-Day options available for 3- and 4-year olds
Partial Week options available for 3-year-olds
Accredited Kindergarten program for 5-year-olds

Elementary Program

Ages 6–9 years in a mixed-age classroom
Students follow individualized learning plans
Integrated curriculum includes language, mathematics, science, geography, and cultural studies
Hands-on learning fosters independence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Collaborative classroom community encourages leadership and responsibility
Outdoor learning experiences are incorporated throughout the curriculum
