Infants are initiators, explorers and self learners. Franklin Montessori Schools has prepared a safe and joyful environment for uninterrupted exploration and interaction between students enrolled in this program.

Franklin Montessori Schools Infant Program is available to children of 3 to 24 months of age.  The program has space for a maximum of nine infants and toddlers, with three teachers in the classroom. The beautiful classroom supports a peaceful and rich developmentally appropriate learning environment.  The Montessori based program incorporates the RIE philosophy developed by both Magda Gerber and Dr. Emmi Pikler.

Franklin Montessori Schools believes it necessary to develop respectful and responsive relationships between the student and educator. Through the use of sensitive, respectful interactions and knowledgeable observation techniques our educators meet the needs of the infants and toddlers in our care.

Our caregivers spend time with each child, forming deep attachments through the use of consistent language and daily routines. Franklin Montessori Schools believes that anticipated experiences stimulate cognition and understanding, promote cooperation and language development, and foster the social and emotional aptitude of an Infant & Toddler.
