Toddler Program

The Toddler classrooms are designed to be a place that feels like home. The teachers and the environment encourage children to develop a life-long love of learning fueled by their inner curiosity and self-initiative.

The classroom is carefully prepared to meet the needs of two-year-olds, allowing them to freely explore in a beautiful environment that is just their size. Each child has the opportunity to strengthen language skills, refine gross and fine motor skills and develop independence and confidence.

The daily life of the classroom provides activities for practicing social skills and caring for others, as well as exploration of music, movement and literature. Under the careful guidance of Montessori-trained teachers our children engage in practical life pursuits, such as gardening, dressing, and hand washing, as well as pre-reading activities, puzzles, art, and conversation.

Independence is fostered by allowing the children to choose from a variety of lessons that they can accomplish with success. The daily practice of these activities enhances the children's ability to communicate with confidence, move with grace, and develop self-reliance.
