Our Mission
The mission of Franklin Montessori Schools is to cultivate an environment of resilience, confidence, and joy.
Our History
Franklin Montessori Schools began in 1977 as a one room school house comprised of seven preschoolers.
In 1986, Franklin Country Day Montessori School was founded to provide additional classrooms.
Today, Franklin Montessori Schools offers full-day and part-time Montessori programs for children ages three months through six years.

About the Head of School
With 30 years of experience in education, Eleni has been serving Franklin families for 19 years, as teacher first, and then as head of school.
Eleni holds degrees in Early Childhood education and Social Science, and Early Childhood Montessori Credentials, as well. She has served on the American Montessori Society's National accreditation team, and was a validator for Montessori Schools of Maryland. She has also served as an instructor, and continues to serve as a field supervisor for the Montgomery Montessori Institute.
Her passion for excellence is evident in every aspect of her life. Eleni grew up in Chicago, IL, when her parents immigrated from Greece. She and her husband have 3 adult children, and 6 grandchildren. Eleni loves to cook, spend time outdoors in her garden, and listen to music.
